THE LIFE OR DEATH DOORWAY

"This day I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses.  Now choose life, so that you and your children may live and that you may love the Lord your God, listen to His voice, and hold fast to Him.  For the Lord is your life...,"  (Deuteronomy 30:19-20).  "But the present heavens and earth by His word are being reserved for fire, kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men." -  2nd Peter 3:7

"Simon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who through the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ have received a faith as precious as ours: Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.  His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and goodness.  'Through these He has given us His very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divne nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.

'For this very reason, make every effort to add to  your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge, and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love.  For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.  But if anyone does not have them, he is nearsighted and blind, and has forgotten that he has been cleansed from his past sins.  Therefore, my brothers, be all the more eager to make your calling and election sure.  For if you do these things, you will never fall, and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.'"

The righteousness of God is linked to the knowledge of God.  Rightousness comes first with knowledge being a by product.  One cannot expect any real revelation from God apart from holiness.  The holiness we seek and impart opens the doorway to all understanding of God's will, word, and ways.  These are the treasures of God.  The doorway we must first embark upon begins as we learn to love righteousness and hate lawlessness (Hebrews 1:9).  Such is the pathway to life or death, heaven or hell.

"Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: 'Because you people have brought to mind your guilt by your open rebellion, revealing your sins in all that you do - because you have done this, you will be taken captive,'" (Ezekiel 21:24).  Ezekiel was an aristocratic priest of Jerusalem, who, along with many others, was carried captive to Babylon.  His message to the people of Israel was one of repentence, returning to the Lord.  Only then could they ever hope to return to Jerusalem.  They were following the pagan practice of sacrificing their children to idols.   They did not deem their helpless, innocent child was a precious gift from God.  For all children are God's gift (Psalm 127:3).  Likewise is the sin of abortion.  Death by choice of a child in the womb is not God's will. 

HIGHER KNOWLEDGE, WISDOM, AND UNDERSTANDING

When we seek the pure righteousness of God, we enter into a realm of higher knowledge, wisdom, and understanding (Proverbs chapters 2,3,4, 8).  When we regard iniquity in our hearts, the Lord will not hear us (Psalm 66:18).  The higher realms of knowledge begin with living a higher call to purity, holiness, and sacification.  There is no other road.  There is no other way.  The realms of occult and gnostic knowledge are man made concepts of hidden truths, coming forth from the doctrine of Demons.  

Satan's realm of temptation is devised to bring the practitioner of metaphysical secret knowledge into a deep dark pit.   The depths of which are divious and souly destructive.  When one walks the paths and opens doorways toward esoteric enlightenment, the core of such other worldly revelation seperates and divides the seat of your soul.  With doorways open, there is no room for God's Holy Spirit of truth.  "For no man can serve two masters.  Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other." (Matthew 6:24).

THE SEAT OF THE SOUL

The seat of your soul contains your mind, will, and emotions.  What a person thinks within the mind, develops the mind and will to link up with your souls intention.  If you seek the path of sin, you reap in due course what the emotional seat of your soul desires.  In contrast, if you seek God's Holy Word (Bible), you link up to the higher truths that will set your spirit free to learn the mystery of God's love, as His Holy Spirit imparts.  In simplistic terms, "What you seek you will find.  What you seed, you feed,"  - Synthia Esther   

ABIDE UNDER THE SHADOW OF THE ALMIGHTY

To know God is to love Him.  To love Him, a profound desire yeilds a longing that Christ should increase and the ego-self decrease.  This becomes the mantra of our soul's intention, yeilding an abundance of new growth and fruit in the quest for ever higher spiritual progress (John 3:30).  Smith Wigglesworth writes of a revelation he received from God ("Smith Wigglesworth Devotional," Whitaker House Publishing).  This revelation concerned the willful act of Adam and Eve's sin, by which they were turned out of the Garden for their disobedience.  As such they were unable to partake of the Tree of Life, for the cherubim with flaming sword kept them away from the Tree. 

THE SECRET PLACE OF THE MOST HIGH

Wigglesworth explains, "When I was baptized, I saw that I had begun to eat of this Tree of Life, and I saw that the flaming sword surrounded it.  It was there to keep the Devil away.  How marvelously He keeps us so that the Wicked One cannot touch us.  I see a place in God where Satan cannot come.  We are "hidden with Christ in God" (Col. 3:3).  He invites us all to come and share this wonderful hidden place.  We dwell "in the secret place of the Most High" and "abide under the shadow of the Almighty," (Psalm 91:1). 

CHOOSE LIFE

"Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him and He will do this: He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun," (Psalm 37:5-6).  That which you choose is always based on your souls freewill intention.   "This day I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses.  Now choose life, so that you and your children may live and that you may love the Lord your God, listen to His voice, and hold fast to Him.  For the Lord is your life...,"  (Deuteronomy 30:19-20).  Make your election sure.  For if you do these things, you will never fall back into the depths of sin, and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
