Cancer Survivor Gives God All The Glory, Doctors Claim She Is A Miracle

The apostles said to the Lord, "In crease our faith!" He replied, "If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, 'Be uprooted and planted in the sea,' and it will obey you.'" - Luke 17:5-6. Two blind men were following Jesus, calling out, "Have mercy on us, Son of David." When Jesus had gone indoors, the blind men came to Him and Jesus asked them, "Do you believe that I am able to do this? "Yes, Lord," they replied. Then Jesus touched their eyes and said, "According to your faith will it be done to you"; and their sight was restored. - Matthew 9:29. God has given each and everyone of us a measure of faith. - Romans 12:3. Consequently, God tells us faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ. -Roman10:17.

SUPERNATIONAL FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST
Lynne Crisp's testimony as a cancer survivor provides us with a super-natural example of faith in Jesus. In June of 2001, Lynne was diagonosed with terminal lung cancer, given six months by doctors to live. She states, "I have had allergies and asthma all my life and was being treated as such for one year with antibiotics. I knew something was not right because after a usual treatment of antibioltics, I usually got better. I finally asked my doctor for an x-ray, which was done on a Friday. Monday, my primary physician called and told me to come in immediately. I knew it wasn't good, but never expected cancer. That's when I was told I had a tumor and it looked to be terminal."
Told she could have the tumor removed and the lower part of her right lung lobe, Lynne went into surgery on July 13, 2001. She shares the details of her miraculous healing by God, with our Sacred Pursuit readers, "I remember coming out of surgery and the doctor told me the tumor was on my heart and pulmonary artery and had spread to my lymph nodes. I was in the last stages of the lung cancer, and was given six months to live. They said it would continue to spread to my brain and advised me not to have chemo or * radiation. If I did, I was so weak, I would have less than three months to live. To enjoy my six months while I could. As I laid in bed, something in my mind told me to defy the doctors and do the chemo and radiation. Of course they were all against it, thought I was in shock and didn't know what was going on. But I wasn't in shock, I knew perfectly well and was ready to meet my Lord. My faith in the Lord had nothing to do with the diagnosis or prognosis. Needless to say, I defyed them all and did what was in my mind. It was a way of the LORD telling me what to do, and I knew it. My faith was strong. I never asked, 'Why me?' Or prayed to live, because I knew the Lord had my back, if no one else did. I did have other friends praying for me. Prayer is a powerful healer."

DOCTORS TOLD HER TO GET HER WILL IN ORDER, BUT GOD HAD OTHER PLANS
"BY HIS WOUNDS WE ARE HEALED," ISAIAH 53:5
Lynne was told by doctors to get her will in order, but God had other plans for her life. She underwent 21 daily treatments of radiation, almost a year of chemotherapy, lost her hair, was bedridden on medications, with morphine running through her back. She recalls in steadfast faith, "I don't remember much, being so doped up for 2 years, but I remember having a dream. So the next moring I got up, made it to the bathroom, pulled the tubing out of my back, and flushed all the medications down the toilet. I had no withdrawals and came from the bed to a wheelchair, to crutches, started water therapy exercises and many other things the doctors told me not to do. My 'PHYSICIAN' leading me, was the one and only 'LORD.'"
This was not the first time, nor the last, God worked a providential miracle in Lynne Crisp's life. As she is also a domestic violence survivor. July 13, 2009, Lynne celebrates eight years of cancer survival. Her doctors call her a medical mystery. Sharing her testimony - Lynne gives God all the glory, "The Lord watched over me as did His angel. I felt the presence of both. Always remember, 'what you ask God for, may not be in your time, but God's.' Everything I have ever wished for, even as a little girl, has come through for me, I believe because of my undying faith in Jesus Christ. Remember God loves you, Jesus Christ is with you daily. He knows your needs, and never will let us down."
THE HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD, WAS THE STILL SMALL VOICE WITHIN LYNNE'S MIND...
A sunday school teacher gave this analogy about the Holy Spirit of God. "Jesus Christ is like the sun, and the Holy Spirit is the warmth, glow, and radience coming through the sun." Elijah described the Holy Spirit's voice coming from within as a still small voice (1 Kings 19:12). Just as Lynne described, "something" coming from within her mind, gave her a word of knowledge concerning her situation and physical condition. These annointed, inspiring thoughts are often sponstaneous. Catherine Marshall is author of the book, "The Helper," (Published by Chosen Books), she writes, "...the truth is that Scripture assumes miracles. And the Helper (one of the names Jesus gave the Holy Spirit), always brings miracles in His wake, moves in the climate of miracles, expects them."

Synthia : You mention Lynne, hearing "something" in your mind instructing you to go ahead with chemo and radiation treatment. Was this the first time you have ever heard this "something" within your mind giving you instruction?
LYNNE: THAT LITTLE VOICE IN MY MIND WAS THE LORD LEADING ME WHAT TO DO. IT WASN'T IN ACTUAL WORDS, OR SPEAKING. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME I HAVE HAD THE LORD GIVING ME INSTRUCTIONS, AND I FAITHFULLY BELIEVE, FOLLOW...
Synthia: Was the "something" speaking within your mind like a person talking, an audible voice? Or more like a flow of thoughts that gave witness to your spirit concerning what to do next?
LYNNE: THE SPEAKING THROUGH MY MIND WAS SPIRITUAL. IT WAS A FLOW OF THOUGHTS , I BELIVE THAT WAS PUT THERE BY THE LORD, GIVING ME DIRECTIONS. I ALWAYS FOLLOW THOSE INSTRUCTIONS, NOT MINE. THE VOICE IS NOT AUDIBLE, NOT VERBAL, BUT SPIRITUAL., A FLOW OF THOUGHTS THAT GAVE WITNESS TO MY SPIRIT AS WHAT TO DO NEXT.
Synthia: Did you have a "gut" feeling confirming the advice you received in your mind?
LYNNE: I DON'T HAVE A GUT FEELING WHAT IS PLACED IN MY MIND. IT'S A SPIRITUAL FEELING , KNOWING THE LORD IS SENDING ME IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION. IT'S A TRUE SPIRITUAL FEELING AND I OBEY.
Synthia: Did you have a "peace" within your spirit about the advice your mind was giving you?
LYNNE: . THE WAY I FELT WITH MY SPIRITUAL ADVICE WAS PEACEFUL. I WAS NEVER SO AT PEACE IN MY LIFE. I BELIEVED THE LORD HAD A PLAN FOR ME. I FOLLOWED EVERY DIRECTION, DEFYING MY THOUGHTS AND THE DOCTORS. I FOLLOWED WHOM I KNEW WAS THE HOLY ONE.
Synthia: When I read your healing testimony, you seem to convey your faith in simple terms. A child like faith in God. What do you attribute your faith to? Where you raised in the church? Were you taught as a child about Jesus Christ? Do you, did you, read the bible often?
LYNNE: YES, I HAVE READ THE BIBLE. I WAS RAISED IN CHURCH FROM 5 YEARS OLD UP. I LOVED THE STORIES OF JESUS.
I WENT TO BIBLE STUDY WEEKLY BY 9 YEARS OLD. SO I WAS TAUGHT AS A CHILD ABOUT JESUS CHRIST. I WAS MESMARIZED AND TRULY BELIEVED EVERYTHING I WAS TAUGHT. I READ THE BIBLE OFTEN, AND WHAT I DON'T UNDERSTAND, I RESEARCH.
ONE DAY WHILE THE PASTOR WAS PRAYING, ALL EYES CLOSED, I PEEKED UP BEYOND THE PASTOR TO THE CROSS, AT WHICH TIME I SAW A VISION OF JESUS CHRIST ON THE CROSS. I COULDN'T TELL ANYONE, BECAUSE NO ONE WOULD BELIEVE ME, I FELT. I WAS 10 YEARS OLD, AND NOT LONG AFTER THAT I WAS BAPTIZED IN A CHURCH.
AS A CHILD, YOU REALLY DON'T UNDERSTAND IT ALL AND NEVER WILL, BUT AS I GOT OLDER OF COURSE, EVERYTHING CAME BACK TO ME 10 FOLD. OF COURSE I WAS WISER AND EVERYTHING CAME BACK THAT WAS TAUGHT TO ME AND I YEARNED FOR MORE.
Synthia: How, when, and where did you receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? How old were you?
LYNNE: I NEVER MISSED A SUNDAY. I LOVED CHURCH, UNLIKE MY BROTHER AND SISTERS. I CAN REMEMBER RUNNING TO SUNDAY SCHOOL AT A YOUNG AGE, ESCORTED BY ONE OF MY SISTERS. SO DRESSED MY MOM WOULD HAVE ME. AND OF COURSE, I FELL AND HAD BLOODIED KNEES EACH TIME I ARRIVED AT CHURCH.
I NEVER DOUBTED THE WORD OF JESUS, AND I BELIEVE I REALLY ACCEPTED HIM AS MY LORD AND SAVIOUR THE DAY HE SHOWED ME HIMSELF UPON THE CROSS. AFTER THAT DAY, I NEVER FEARED ANYTHING, BECAUSE, I KNEW HE WAS WITH ME ALWAYS.

LYNNE: YES, I KNOW BY THE POWER OF JESUS CHRIST I WAS HEALED. GLORY BE TO GOD...........SOME PEOPLE LAUGHED AT MY TESTAMONY, SOME PEOPLE CRIED, SOME PEOPLE JUST GOT ON THEIR KNEES AND PRAYED.
