FALSE ORACLES AND FALSE PROPHETS WITHIN THE CHURCH
"Christian Mystics, The Third and Fourth Dimension, The Third Wave, And Other Worldly Voices Of Demonic Deception"
By Synthia Esther
The Association of Vineyard Churches, also known as the "Vineyard Movement," is a neocharismatic evangelical Christian denomination with over 1,500 affiliated churches worldwide. A prominent leader and teacher in the Vineyard Movement, was John Richard Wimber ( February 25, 1934 - November 17, 1997), who was raised in a non-religous family, converted as an evangelical Christian in May 1963. He attended a Quaker church in Yorba Linda, Califoria, and led hundreds of others to convert to Christianity. By 1970, he was leading 11 different Bible study groups that involved more than 500 people. Wimber was the former keyboard player and producer for the "Righteous Brothers Band," (Wikpedia).
The Vineyard Movement has deep roots in the manifestations of "signs and wonders," which includes the hands on transference of the "Toronto Blessing," and like uncontrollable body reactions, shaking, and vocal stimulations as that of a Kundalini awakening common to Eastern Shamans and Occult Mystics.
Also noted in conjunction with the "Vineyard Movement," are the "Kansas City Prophets," out of Kansas City, Missouri. These self-proclaimed prophets included Bill Hamon, Rick Joyner (Morning Star Ministries), Paul Cain, Bob Jones, Mike Bickle, James Goll, John Paul Jackson, and Lou Engle. Paul Cain had also participated in the Voice of Healing Revival initiated by William Branham back during the 1950's (wikpedia). Some of these self claimed prophets and visionaries are stated to have "WIlliam Branham's Mantle," giving way to the spirits of Eagles and Angel guides. Rick Joyner is said by many (speculation), to have described Branham in his controversial book, "The Final Quest," as one who had 'gone off the rails' in his teachings. Yet Joyner saw him in his vision (which is Joyner's foundation and basis for "The Final Quest") as sitting on a great throne in the highest part of the throne room of God.

RICK JOYNER - OCCULT PATHWORKING
"The Final Quest," is but one in a series by author Rick Joyner, which I have read and review as one of the "Top Occult Pathwork" books ever to hit the Christian reader's market. Even a novice (I research the occult, New Age metaphysical) of pagan and occult literature will notice Joyner's use of ritual, and animal, angel spirit guides. Joyner's visions, read and appear in description to be most reminiscent of the metaphysical workings of "Astral Travel," into other worldly viens of supposed higher "Third and Fourth Dimension" consciousness. Which in occult pathwork includes climbing the mountain or crossing the sea (a literal analogy) and its various inner levels of human consciousness. How does one in Occult workings create such pathworking visions? Through the use of Tarot Cards, or most often, the the use of the Kabbalah's Occult "Tree of Life." Joyner references "The Tree of Life" throughout his book, "The Final Quest," as well as noting various levels and doorways....which are all common in occult pathworking.
An example by occult author Donald Michael Kraig, in his book "Modern Magick - Eleven Lessons in the High Magickal Arts," (page 490-494), describes going around an island and meeting different female godesses, learning lessons of experience. Kraig writes (page 494), The purpose of Pathworking is for information gathering. By questioning Higher Spiritual Entities (much like Rick Joyner does in "The Final Quest" ) it is possible to learn new rituals, new magickal techniques and new mystical information. Kraig writes (page 492), "We continue around the island, and I realized that what I have seen are the faces of the three-fold lunar Goddess of Paganism. This is natural, since before I started to study the Kabalah I had only studied Wicca or Witchcraft." Unfortunately, the average Christian is left unaware, and sadly misinformed. Which is the purpose of God's calling on my life, and the realization of this website and article.

A PERSONAL TESTIMONY CONCERNING "THE BLESSING" OF DEMONIC DECEPTION
"...INSTANTLY MY HEART TOLD ME THIS WAS A DEMON...I KNEW THAT AN UNCLEAN SPIRIT HAD JUST MANIFESTED THROUGH ME AND I WAS GUILTY OF GREAT SIN"
"I LAUGHED AT PEOPLE ACTING LIKE GODS AND PRETENDING TO URINATE ON THE COLUMNS OF THE TACF BUILDINGS."

An excerpt from Paul Gowdy's testimony concerning the Toronto Blessing:
"Some make out that the Toronto Blessing was one huge conspiriacy to lead the body of Christ into heresy. Heresy and apostasy I suspect may well be the result, but none of these destinations were intentional. I am honestly convinced that the leaders in the Vineyard churches are genuine born-again Christians who love the Lord, but have fallen into deception. They have not loved the Lord enough to keep His commandments. They have failed to obey the scriptures and have been led astray by our longing for something bigger and brighter and more exciting and dynamic. I am guilty of this sin also. I have preached renewal in Korea, the United Kingdom, the USA and here in Canada. I am genuinely repentant in writing this story I would ask you the bride and body of Christ to forgive me.
"...I am an evaneglical Christian, I always have been but I do not believe in the cessation of the spiritual gifts at the end of the apostolic era. I believe that it was my evangelical roots (my family are Baptists and I was born again in the Presbyterian Church), that started to open my eyes to problems with this so called renewal. In hind sight I look back and think how could I have been so blind? I laughed at people acting like dogs and pretending to urinate on the columns of the TACF building. I watched people pretend to be animals, bark, roar, clunck, pretend to fly as if they had wings, peretually act drunk and sing silly songs. How I thought that any of this was from the Holy Spirit of God amazes me today. I was loud, irreverent and blasphemous to the Holy God of the Bible.
"I was taught from the pulpit that we had two options. The order of the nursery full of life and messy or the order of the graveyard, very orderly but dead! As a young immature pastor I wanted life with mess. I failed to remember that God wants us to become mature and grow up in him. I became disconcerted by the prophetic words that came forth especially one by Carol Arnott in which she had her bride experience where she was taken into the presence of Jesus and said that the love that she experienced was even better than sex! I was shocked in my spirit and thought how can one compare the love of God with sex?
"Finally the penny dropped for me as I was rolling around one night 'drunk in the Spirit' as we would say. I started singing and as I rolled around the floor the Nursery Rhyne 'Mary had a little lamb its fleece was white as snow,' came to mind. I sang this in a macking spirit and instantly my heart told me this was a demon. Instantly I repented and was in total shock. How could a demon get into me? Did I not love God? Was I not zealous for the things of God? Was I not nuts about Jesus? I knew that an unclean spirit had just manifested through me and I was guilty of great sin."
