BLACK CATS AND THE OCCULT - A WITCH'S FAMILIAR?

In the beginning God made and confirmed good, the heavens and the earth with all is living creatures.  Included in God's good creations were black cats.  To this day there are many within the world that consider the black cat to be filled with nysterious and mystical evil, linked to the physic world of the occult, and filled with Satanic powers from on high.   "The Dictionary of the Esoteric," page 44, Watkins Publishing - London, Nevill Drury writes, "In ancient Egypt, there were cat'headed goddesses (e.g. Bast and Sekhmet) associated with fertility and sexual power.  In the Middle Ages, black cats were regarded as incarnations of the Devil and gave rise to much popular superstition.  Cats are also said to be popular familiars of witches: the modern witch Rosaleen Norton believed that cats had more integrity and sensitivity than humans beings, and she claimed a special psychic rapport with them."

Drury educates his readers (page 100), concerning cat and animal familiars.  In medieval witchcraft, a spirit or demon usually in the form of an animal, accompanies a witch or warlock and is said to provide magical powers.  Sometimes even a drop of blood from the witch was included in the animal's food, allegedly forming a psychic bond between the witch and the familiar.  Witches sometimes consulted their familiars when making predictions or seeking omens.

GOD FORBIDES PRACTICES OF DIVINATION, SORCERY, OMENS, WITCHCRAFT, CASTING OF SPELLS, OR MEDIUM OR SPIRITIST, OR THOSE WHO CONSULT THE DEAD

Deuteronomy 18:10-14, "Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or cast speels, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead.  Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord, and because of these detestable practices the lord your God will drive out those nations before you.  You must be blameless before the Lord your God.  The nations you will dispossess listen to those who practice sorcery or divination.  But as for you, the Lord your God has not permitted you to do so."

 CATS, THE OCCULT,  AND NINE LIVES

Cats are nocurnal, which some conclude hold the power of the night and the Moon.   Author D. J. Conway is said to have studied every aspect of New Age religion, from Eastern philosophy to Wicca, and attributes Egyptian principal goddesses associated with the domestic cat, to be Bast and Pasht.   Conway relates in her book, "The Mysterious Magical Cat," Gramercy Books, page 63. "The idea of the cat and its nine lives may have come from an Egyptian belief that the goddess Pasht had nine lives; the Egyptian Ennead was also made up of nine deities.  The number nine has been associated with the Moon in many ancient cultures since the earliest of times.  The Greek/Roman goddess Artemis/Diana, who was identified with Bast, was also associated with the number nine (the nine Muses), the Moon, and the cat; the priestesses of Diana were often masked and robed to resemble cats.  The Egyptians who were educated and initiated into the Mysteries never actually worshipped any animal as an animal.  Instead, they honored the animal as an incarnation or representation of a divine presence or deity."

CATS ARE NOT INCARNATIONS, NOR ARE THEY EVIL

Cats bestowed by incarnation with the presence of a divine deity, or a special psychic rapport holding occult magick connections, comes from man made pagan belief systems, and is not mentioned by God in Biblical scripture.  This man made belief system is not of God, which declairs all of His creations as good.  This inculdes "Black Cats."  There are those involved with the occult termed as "Witches" who claim the feline as their magick familiar, using their hair and cast off whiskers in their spells and rituals. 

Who is to blame, the cat or the person using the cat for their occult divination, healing, prosperity, or evil sinister intentions?  It is most certainly the human being who is at the root of such sins against God, not the innocent cat or animal who is used and abused.  Cats, and most often noted "black cats" are not evil.  Though their human owners can be!  "Even a child is known by his actions, by whether his conduct is pure and right." -  Proberbs 20:11

BLACK CATS ARE MOST OFTEN PUT TO DEATH IN ANIMAL SHELTERS

Did you know black cats, among all cats, are most often put to death in animal shelters.  Why?   Because many people are afraid or superstitious of black cats, so they remain un-adopted.  Which is why I have helped rescue two black cats.  Such irrantional, superstitious belief that a cat can influence a course of events or holds magick power is all in ones mind.  For that which we believe we thus conceive within our minds.  It is our "minds" that attribute such powers.  That which we idolize, promote, and proclaim, will often show up in our life, in direct response to our free will and mind ill intentions.  The demonic powers within this world are happy to manifest in response to our false belief systems.  

BESTIALITY AND ZOOPHILIA - SEX WITH ANIMALS

PRAY FOR YOUR ANIMALS

I have prayed over all my pets, that their life be filled with good health and God's peace, and so they are.   One of the sweetest, most caring cats I own is "Precious," a fluffy, solid black female feline.  When I am sick in bed, it is "Precious, my black cat" who remains at the foot of my bed almost 24/7.  All my other cats are loving and attend to me, however, Precious is the most diligent in her care and attention.   If I am laying on the floor, as I often do when reading a book, Precious attempts to "groom" my head and hair, which is an ulitmate form of love that cat's may bestow opon their owners.
